Something Better is a safe, warm, faith based youth center located in Baraga County. Admission is free and so are the games such as ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and pool. Snacks are available on a cash basis with water and fresh fruit at no cost. Hours may very, based on volunteers from the community. We are open for scheduling activities and use of the center by groups and organizations. We believe God has a plan for everyone’s life and endeavor to teach life skills and healthier habits and choices for youth ages 12-18.

Something Better is providing a faith-based environment today, for the future leaders of tomorrow in order to learn, share and grow. Many of today’s youth are troubled. Many come from broken or dysfunctional homes or no home at all.
They don’t know what a healthy nation, tribe, community, village or family looks like or their perception makes it appear that way. This affects their personality, self-worth and value. They are valuable! Many need positive direction and role models to discover God’s plan and purpose for their lives.
